THE COMPANY OF DEMONS started out with a bang, but ended with a whimper. In the beginning, I was really drawn into the story, but the more I read and began to see into the main characters, the more I wanted the bad guys to win. To me, the best character in the whole story was Jenifer and I would have liked to see more of her and her family dynamics. She was a strong character and although she went down the wrong path she owned herself and never seemed to sit around, whining and feeling sorry for herself. Instead she got up and did something, even though it may have been horrible things. We see a little of her past, when she admits her father molested her, but to the world he wasn't really that bad a guy. I would have loved to see more of her and her brother as well as the Torso killer and his family. The main characters, except for Molly, should have been murdered off.
