This was so exciting! It kept me up all night and on the edge of my seat throughout the book! The characters were so well-written and three-dimensional. They were all very real and really moved the story along. The main character, lawyer John Coleman was definitely a flawed character but that only served to make him more real and relatable. I liked the tie-in with real cases/serial killers. I researched a lot of it after reading The Company of Demons and learned a lot. I will admit I'm really easy to scare and this did have me leaving the light on but that doesn't necessarily mean anyone else would find it scary. Serial killer novels just terrify me. And I love it actually! This was a great one!
