This book was a wild ride. There was some surprises and it constantly kept my guessing about what could happen. I really liked the writing. It was very creepy and it was a book you want to read in the day time. It was a real page turner. The ending was slightly predictable but it still was really good. I would recommend to people that like dark, psychological thrillers. It also has a bit of a gothic book vibe.
It made it more fun that you kind of could see what was coming because the suspense really just builds and builds. Margot was an enjoyable character, she was relatable, witty, and likable. The story is unsettling and hypnotizing and it is the perfect book to pull out around Halloween when you just need to get the chills from a book.
