This is a mysterious, slightly unnerving story about a young girl who tragically looses her whole family. Going through the foster system is never fun but when she is adopted by a family who knew her parents, she seems saved. But all people have secrets.
This is very easy to read. It flows nice, not overly descriptive which means you get what is going on straight away. You also get a feel for who this girl has become after her tragedy - I like her already! She is relatable. The other characters are quite relatable too but I am not sure yet if I like them or not. Do they have motives that their appearances are trying to deceive?
The storyline is one that will make you go, 'now what on earth is going on here?' and you feel compelled to continue reading. I love that. Its awesome when an author can get you so invested early on. I am feeling a unique storyline here, something that may even shock. Defiantly picking this one up!
