I'm not sure what I was expecting when I started reading this book, but I was not expecting it to be so creepy and in a fantastic way.

I don't want to rehash the plot because I'm sure most people have read the blurb and understand what its about.

That being said, this is one of the creepiest YA books I have read in a long time. Katie Alender manages to add just the right amount of creepiness without over doing it. Margot and Agatha...first the name Agatha creeps me out. Perhaps because its such an old fashion name and let me tell you, the character fits the name. Agatha doesn't speak, Agatha doesn't move, Agatha has secrets. In fact almost every character has secrets, even the house holds some secrets.

Agatha's parents are tough so to speak. Her mother, as much as she got along with Margot, still had some weird hang ups about how her daughter should be treated. There is just so much to take in but the whole thing works and comes together. Thank you so much to bookish first and penquin teen for the arc!
