Okay, the blurb is more intriguing than the excerpt. I truly believe that introducing characters should come with an action scene. There isn’t enough interest when Agatha or any of the family members or even the main character enters. They’re just there but with no importance. I do like the creepy, eerie feeling you get from the blurb, but I wasn’t able to see it in the excerpt.
