This seems like a great start with potential to be one of the gothic style stories that I'm constantly craving! So far the author has set it up really well- Margot's grief and pain (well hidden it seems during the day, but causing screaming and nightmares at night), an isolated house and the new duties as companion to a mysteriously silent girl. It's been awhile since I read any of Katie Alender's work but from what I remember we are in for a creepy treat with this book.
