Based off first impressions, I love the cover and title of the book. Just the layout and simplicity with the nails on the spoon sets up that this is gonna be a psychological thriller. I enjoyed the very blunt beginning with the car crash, sparing no super details and just getting to the point of the situation. I liked Alender's style of writing, as it gave the impression you are reading how the main character is feeling. As a YA book, I felt it was perfect and not overly detailed that it deters from the action. It was very creepy and I am very excited to see where this is going!
