If I am being completely honest, the first couple of pages did not necessarily garner my interest. The scenes depicted were tragic and I was worried the story would be a bit too sad for my taste. I don't really like sad books because I always cry so I almost put the preview away altogether. However, as I continued reading, I became more and more invested. Now, I am very eager to continue this story and see where it ultimately ends up!
