The story is very sad, but is a very beautiful story. It makes you feel like you've taken many things for granted. It shows you a very different point of view, its shows you to see the world in a way that may make you sad. To be honest its a roller coaster ride of emotions, you dont know whether to be sad, mad or understanding. I never read a story like this, I do love reading based on real life stories but never one like this. What was interesting was the fact that you could send your children to different set of parents without any information about them and trust them fully. Also the child could stay with them if they wanted and that would be fine. I have never heard of such thing before and thats what made this book very interesting.
