This story strikes me as really interesting to me even though I wouldn't necessary be drawn to the genre. I don't read a ton of historical fiction despite loving history, but the first few chapters of The Children's Train are really interesting to me. Post-war Italy has some interesting dynamics I would love to read about through the lens of historical fiction.
