Someone Else's Cup of Tea
Historical fiction really isn't a genre I gravitate towards, so I wasn't so sure I was going to like this very much. I will say that the writing is extremely well done, especially for being from the perspective of a young boy (at least from this first part in 1946). I'm sure that the story is captivating and heartbreaking, as books set in this time period usually are. It's just not my cup of tea. No fault of the book itself.
