I don't think I've read a book set in post-WWII Italy, so this excerpt of The Children's Train was eye-opening. I'm intrigued to see that it's based on true events and am curious to see what awaits Amerigo. I like the muted color scheme of the cover, but it doesn't particularly catch the eye.
