I love reading about World War 2 because it is heartbreaking and leaves you breathless. I can tell this book will be no different. I'm intrigued by the fact that we are in the perspective of a young boy. I think that the perspective of such a vulnerable person is going to be impactful. So far, I love the author's style. It makes the emotions and mood stand out. It's also a very fast read. I flew through the first couple pages. I'm looking forward to this powerful read.
