Grabbed My Curiosity and Pulled Me Right In

It took a couple of pages to grab my attention, but once it happened, I could not turn the pages fast enough. The first-person narration started as casual ramblings of a New Mexico artist named Sylvia who is missing her partner, Lola. Sylvia reflects on the small but thoughtful gifts that Lola brings home from her business-related world travels when she finds a disturbing letter mixed in with the usual fan mail. Suddenly, a lifetime of secret identity is threatened. I absolutely want to know what happens!
