I won this in a raffle and the book never came. I reached out to the Bookish First team multiple times and every time they said the book was on its way or they would be sending it soon or it was delayed. Anyway. It never came and eventually I stopped following up on it because it shouldn’t be this much work to get a free book. So I’ve never read it. But I am writing this review to clear it from my “books you’ve won and need to review tab”
I feel like I should mention that any other time I’ve won a book it has arrived in a timely fashion and everyone on the bookish first team has been lovely and nice. I just never had this one specific issue cleared and I hate looking like a delinquent for having it pending. But I want it to be clear that everyone I talked to was super nice. The issue just wasn’t resolved and I never remember until I see the leave a review tab whenever I go to my profile.
