I already had this book on my to buy list. I was excited to be able to sample it before purchasing. The Book is well written, engaging, and practical.
The writing flows well. It is well constructed and well edited. Always a plus for a book on writing advice.
The how to advice is colored by the authors own experience, as well as her desire to help authors actually break into publishing and not just to become better writers. The advice is real. It starts with the best way to break into the industry and continues with even more practical advice.
I am excited to read this book in its entirety. I imagine that it has more practical advice then is available in most any other writing book I have read.
