Well doesn't this fantastical world sound quite unique !
For many years I only immersed myself in thrillers and horror novels, except for those most often times painful books that you were required to read in college. But then I began with Amanda Hocking's "Trylle" trilogy about trolls , I then slowly moved onto Victoria Aveyard's world of magic by blood system in the "Red Queen " series, followed by Roshani Choski's "Star Touched-Queen" balancing horoscopes and life between death and reincarnation. Now--- needless to say the Fantasy and Magical Realism genres are slowly creeping up on my spine- tinglers! It just depends on what I am in the mood to read... I am current reading " An enchantment if ravens" so this book sound 5- star appealing right now!
I especially like that this synopsis seems like the plot of a book that has not been done or attempted before. I don't remember any novel of a main character being able to change genders by magic. I've read stories with main characters who are gender fluid but not ones who are actually able to shift to another gender. Aldo, I love the unique names!
