This was awesome! I love the concept of using magic to change a human's form and I'm intrigued to see if she can learn to change them back into humans at some point. The family dynamic is so messed up and I'm interested to see how that will all work out. A very good start with a young girl wanting to do right by her family, while seemingly having some internal struggles with that. I'm so excited to read the book as a whole!
