Wow! This is such a great beginning to the story. I love books like this because it's a whole new world to discover and I'm so curious about how the strega magic works. The world is similar to Italy, which is one of my favorite places to visit. I can just see the mountains, castle, and village in my mind. Teo is an excellent character and I cannot wait to see how she develops, especially since she has admitted that she wants to be a di Sangro son. I am also very curious about the strega Teo met, who I'm assuming is Cielo. I really want to know about their background and how they are the one to deliver the letter.
I love the cover of this book and the title. These were the first things that made me interested in the book, but the summary also really drew me in. I wish I had this book right now. I would love to read more to find out if Teo's father lives, what the Capo is trying to accomplish by attacking the five families, and I want to see how Teo and Cielo develop as characters.
