If I'm being completely and utterly honest, the letter from the Associate Editorial Director was enough for me to want to read this book!
However, I continued on to the sample, it blew me away! The imagery, the magic, the bravery of this young girl!
She is clearly powerful but was taken aback by this new stranger. He did something that others couldn't, he could speak to her, her magic.
I also loved how the magic could also double as her conscious. I also really liked how we could see the complexity of these characters so soon.
This story is extremely interesting and I wish to read more of it!
The cover is also very lovely and very fitting!
