I love the cover of this book. The story line sounded good when I read the description. But the story line fell short for me. I also feel as if the writing wasn't the greatest. I read about 50% of the story and was slightly bored and chose to not continue. I feel that they story lacked that spark, that special story line or character that draws you in and begs for you to keep reading and find out what happens next. I feel the characters were stale and I couldn't connect in special way. I would consider reading a different book by this author in the future, this book may have fallen short but I may love the next one. I look forward to the next book in the future.
