The first look at this book has me wanting to continue on and read more. I always enjoy books that include history and this is set in the hills of Kentucky during the depression. Bluet is a rider for the Pack horse library service taking books up into the hills to the people who live too far to come into town.she is one of the last of the blue skinned people who lived in the hill country. At 19 her Pa determined to marry her off. She is windowed on her wedding night and is happy to resume her route for the Pack horse Library Project. She enjoys sharing books and magazines to the hill folk of the appalachian mountains. She has to deal with discrimination not only as a women but as a Blue also. Would really like to read the rest of this book and find out how the story progresses.
