Now I need to finish this story!

I was pretty skeptical based on the cover and the description of this book. I assumed that it would either be very good or something that I was sick of by the end of the sneak peek. Richardson has managed to pack a lot of story into just a few pages, and I want to see where she takes this story. It also prompted me to do some background reading, I had never heard of the blue-skinned people of Kentucky, and I understand that there's very little about them, but now I want to know more. My biggest complaint about the sneak peek is actually about the cover - while I understand that finding a blue-skinned model for the cover is unlikely, given that one of the main challenges highlighted for the protagonist is her blue skin, a white cover model seems inappropriate.
