A Well Researched Book About a Region and Its People

I always enjoy learning something new, and I had not heard about the Blue People of Kentucky. The first two pages caught my attention, but I wanted to know more about the baby that was in the dirt below the lynched body. I wish that had been referenced in the preview pages. The author of 'The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek' has clearly done a good deal of research. However, I'm not sure that this is a book for me.
