I wanted to love this book but that didn’t happen. I liked it. I adored the beginning and thought I would relate to Sarah but instead as the book went on I really related to Grace. The book caused me to cry a bit as it processed Grace’s emotional issues and why she went by the numbers. My favorite characters were Mama G and Trav and I fell in love with both of them.
Speaking of love, I needed a bit more romance in a story. I know there was world building with the town which I always appreciate but I did want more closure about Grace and Trav. Speaking of which I hate that Trav didn’t go by Travis. I would also like more of Daisy who was just precious. And more of the pets we met. More of everyone really.
