I really loved a lot about this book. To start, the setting is so perfect. It reminded me of that warm feeling I got when I watched Gilmore Girls. The small bits of magical realism really made the story stronger and enhanced the feel of the town and the characters. I loved the way the town needed to be rescued as did the characters in the book and each was met by the driving force of both entities. There was everything you could want in this book - a little bit of romance, tensions, character development and a place you wish could be real so that you could visit it. There were times where it made me laugh and times when I was absorbed in the storyline. I really recommend this book for a pick me up when you need something to make you smile!
