This book has everything a good book needs to catch my eye: a cover with a stack of books on it, a great storyline, and likeable characters. Part of me always wanted to be a librarian, and this story is about a librarian in a sleepy town who befriends a displaced young woman named Grace. The story resonated with me because it draws on themes of redemption, independence, mysticism, and IRL female friendships. The idea that Sarah can match the perfect book with different people is a rare gift I would love to have. This is a promising new novel by a female writer who features strong female characters and well-developed plot that keeps readers engaged in finding out what will happen next. I love this book and cant wait to read more.
