I haven't read a Karen Hawkins book in a while, so already interested. I have read several other books about 7 daughters and the 7th is usually magical. And so appears to be Sarah. Sadly in a parallel life, Grace and her sister were abandoned by their mother, and she has serious anger issues. But eventually they are lucky enough to be accepted by Mrs. G as her foster girls. Years later Sarah and Grace end up neighbors. Intriguing as the other books by Karen Hawkins that I have read.
