As an avid book reader myself, the summary of this book intrigued me. I'm not usually a big fan of "easy going" fiction books (I prefer complex thrillers and crime fiction), the first impression was pretty interesting. The characters seem well developed and I like the bit of magic/fantasy that is added to the plot.
