The Book Charmer by Karen Hawkins caught my attention when I saw the beautiful cover. Then, I read the opening line, "On the Saturday after her seventh birthday, a book spoke to Sarah May Dove." and I was officially hooked. As an avid reader and lifelong book lover, I was immediately drawn into this book and I am anxiously awaiting the opportunity to continue reading it.
