Okay, I'm not the biggest fan of magical realism, but the over-all concept of this novel was intriguing so I thought I'd give the first few chapters a whirl. And, although the chapters I read were well-written, unique, and intriguing, I just wasn't sucked into the book. Just wasn't my cup of tea, but if you love magical realism and writing that flows beautifully, I would recommend this book to you!
