I loved the cover, anything involving books or bookstores draws me right in. This was an exceptionally beautiful chair with a stack of books begging to be read. I have to admit I spent the beginning of my reading of this excerpt wiping tears away. I could feel Grace's angst of being the least favorite foster child. She even adored her blonde beauty sister Hannah! Her never ending anger at the unjustness of it all kept getting her in trouble. Moving every three months from house to house. Being picked on by the Foster Parent's own children and they always got away with it. Finally, hope Mama G her last final foster home. She finished college got her dream job but Hannah's life didn't go as well. She had a baby unwed and too young and left her at six months with Mama G. She died before she ever had a chance to be a proper mother. Then Mama G. got Alzheimer's and Hannah needed a new Mom so Grace had to quit her dream job and find somewhere to take them and start over. Back to living in a quaint town where Mama G was from and I can't wait to read the rest!!
