We start in 2001 and meet teenage Sarah and Grace. This gives us a bit of their backstories for when we rejoin them in present day, eighteen years later. Grace and her sister, Hannah, were apparently able to settle down with Mama G and now, years later, she is taking care of her own loved ones. And she just moved in next door to Sarah Dove. Sarah continues to have an affinity for books. I can't wait to see how their Grace and Sarah's paths cross. How will Grace adapt to being back in a small town? The characters are charming and I look forward to reading more of their stories.
