I absolutely loved the first quarter of this book. After that it does start to get very heavy into the plot of the story which contains a lot of history and a lot of war.
Although I tried to avoid reviews prior to my own personal reading, I did see that lower ratings were because of the aspect of war. For me, I like the feel that war can bring to a plot because war is real. Our lives sadly do not exist without it.
However, this book was too heavy on war and the elements of such.
