There are so many reasons why I didn't finish this book. However, I want to give my top three reasons and leave it at that.
1. The Writing - During the first few chapters the writing flowed. However, something changed or I got bored. The writing was too over descriptive, over dialogued, and just became boring.
2. No Depth - I wasn't invested enough. I began not to care. The characters were strange at parts, just so so.
3. I couldn't stay awake to read this book. I felt promise at first but then as I read on I didn't care about it. There was nothing bringing me back.
All that stated, I felt this story line could have been done in a Intriguing way. I was excited to read a story wrapped around Muslim history. I was disappointed it fell flat for me. Overall, this is probably the last book I would read from author Wilson. I almost finished but not quite. Disappointed and Done...
