The Bird King sounds like a very intriguing, exciting, and able to sweep me away. I love historical romances that mix in different elements: mystery, magic, and pushing characters out of their comfort zone. This novel, The Bird King sounds like it will be a fast favorite of mine. I wonder how Fatima will help Hassan and what will happen when she discovers there is more to Hassan than meets the eye. Even if I do get selected to an ARC of The Bird King, I will have to get it.
