Triumpant ..a book that is begging to be made into a movie!

When I read a book , if it is one I like I tend to cast the characters. If the author hadn't said that Hasaam was a redhead, I would cast him as Naveen Andrews and Fatima as Tina Desai from Sense8 a Netflix original. Their characters were electric, and so intriguing they leapt from the page. The originality of his cartography drawing doors into other planes of existence is a wonderful nod at Alice in Wonderland or CS Lewis The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. We all want to escape our reality, and Fatima so wants to be able to breathe the sea air as a free woman, to see the world beyond her confinement in walls. I see the sultans mother cast as Michelle Pfeiffer.. or Angelina Jolie.. regal beauty that commands attention with just a touch of fear. There is attention to detail in this book that is award worthy , and I cannot wait to see if someone adapts it to a screenplay. I cannot wait to read the full book to review on my social media pages.
