This book was so funny and heartwarming, and really had me thinking about when I was in high school sneaking out to party or see boys! Mostly to see boys... But I really related with this book (I only graduated 5 years ago now), along with all the relationship fears and friendly troubles. This book had me holding my breath at many parts thinking 'this is it, this is really going to happen' for it to be interrupted or shut down in general. I really liked Dean at first, but then quickly hated him as he went from goofy to a jerk. I mean, I always heard in high school that college guys don't want to have a relationship, they only want to have sex with you, and this book really played off the idea.

I enjoyed the relationship between Keely and Andrew, and I guessed where it would end up pretty much after picking up the book. But, that is not a bad thing! There were so many ups and downs between them throughout the book and there were times I really did think Keely would end up with Dean. In true high school fashion, there are tons of rumors and overall mind games circulating between each of the seniors in this high school, making you question whether or not you want to believe something.

The ending was sweet, with everyone ending up with who they're supposed to. Keely is unsure about the future and how her relationship with Andrew, Heather, and everyone else will turn out, but for now she is focusing on the present, which is the best she can do. I am sad we do not get to see them all spending the summer together, but I can have hope it is filled with fun (and maybe a little drama too). I give this book 4.5 stars!
