I had pretty much no expectations going into this book, only that I wanted something cute and fluffy. And while it was both, I just wasn't very invested in the romance between the two characters. A lot of people didn't like this book because it focused on a teen trying to lose her virginity before she graduates high school, but I actually really liked that premise. What I didn't like was that I felt no chemistry between Keely and the love interest. She was also unbelievably clueless, which annoyed me.
I did like the pace of the book, and the writing was also pretty good (not unreadable, and flowed well). I also like Keely's one friend, but everyone else she hung out with was really toxic and I felt like those relationships were never discussed. The book just seemed to portray such friendships as normal high school friend groups.
Overall, I didn't love this book, but I'll read the authors future books.
