Best Laid Plans is told entirely from Keely’s perspective as she struggles to figure out her feelings for both her coworker and her best friend. At times I felt frustrated with her and for her. Andrew, her best friend was my favorite character.
I loved Best Laid Plans so much. I read it in an afternoon. It’s the perfect mix of humor and heart. Friends to Lovers is my favorite YA romance trope and Best Laid Plans handles it so perfectly. It also has a great understanding of friendship and slut-shaming in a way that I rarely have seen in other YA books. I whole-heartedly recommend Best Laid Plans to other Young Adult Romance fans!
