I stumbled upon this book and loved how cute the cover was so I thought, “sure, why not! I’ll give this book a try!” Because sometimes you HAVE to judge a book by its cover, right?
Anyway, I’m so glad I did! This book was so good. Really relatable to the high school experience of “dating” and the pressures that come along with it. I totally saw bits of My high school self in the main character, and it made me laugh and cry along with her through out the entire book.
I love that I, as 32 year old woman, was able to resonate with this book. I can see high schoolers and people in their twenties enjoying this book too.
It was also really well written and I was surprised to hear it was the authors first novel. I can’t wait to read more from her in the future!
