The Best Laid Plans was a sweet, cheesy, and feel-good love story between two best friends. It has the friends to lovers trope, as well as a slight love triangle situation. Although it is Young Adult, it is about older teens - they are 18 years old and about sex - and therefore it is more appropriate for older readers. I really enjoyed reading about Keely and her friends, as well as watching her navigate her relationships with Dean and Andrew. It was a fun and sweet book.
