I’m a sucker for romance YA and this one definitely has got me super interested. You have Keely, the protagonist (and apparently to her, the only virgin left in her senior class) who sounds like she’s torn between getting it over with and actually waiting to do it with someone she actually cares about. There’s a prospect of a love triangle between Keely and her best friend, Andrew, and of course the oh-so cool and incredibly handsome Dean who works at the video store.
I think it’s really refreshing to read about a book that dives into relationships & sex in this way — there’s a level of self-awareness that each character carries about the subject that keeps me engaged and interested to read.
