Like a Jenny Han book but perhaps for a slightly older age group. It's definitely a Rom-Com and everything exactly as advertised. I really enjoyed it and I would absolutely recommend it to others who enjoy this style of story. I would absolutely watch it if it became a movie and I will admit that I was totally rooting for the characters.

However, there is an issue I had with the book that I feel pretty strongly about. The book is advertised for 9th grade and older. I feel that it should be older than that. Are the main characters in high school? Yes. Am I living in some type of fantasy world where I think 9th graders don't know about and talk about sex? No. But I will stick with my gut and say that I feel very strongly that I would want the 9th graders that I know to wait until they are a bit older to read this book. Being a teenager with all of the social media is hard enough. Being a teenager in general is hard enough, I don't feel that they should read about all of the virgin hate that was present in this book. I wouldn't want my best friends daughter (who happens to be in 9th grade) to read this book and feel like being a virgin is not okay. It is very okay. Waiting is very okay.
