This is not normally the type of YA that I like to read, but I actually really liked this book so far. Andrew and Keely have literally grow up with each other since they were born and somehow through their awkward years going through middle school and high school they have managed to still be the best of friends. Andrew throws Keely a birthday party at his house and it is so obvious that he likes her. He genuinely cares about her and likes her and it rally shows. The problem is that they are graduating high school and at the end of the summer they will live across the country from each other. Will these childhood best friends finally find love and will Keely finally find that one person that respects her as a person to lose her virginity to?

The only problem I never like in books which are targeted towards teens or even is written with teens as the main characters is that they make young girls feel like they are less of a person because they haven't had sex yet. I would not want my daughter at that age feeling like she has to prove something to others by having sex. I completely understand that this is definitely an issue that high school students face on a daily basis, but not a topic that I would want my daughter to feel additional pressure from. However, as an adult away from my teens I have no problem reading this book myself. Like I said I enjoyed reading the book so far.
