I remember being young and reading Judy Blume's Forever. It was like stepping into a secret world. I imagine this book will be that way for a new generation. Evan as having sex and losing your virginity has become generally less of a significant event over the decades, it still remains a major milestone, particularly to young women. There are still double standards and insecurities, and I think this book will do a lot to let the younger crowd know that they are not alone while being both fun and entertaining.
