The Belles was one of those books I bought solely because of the cover, and knew almost nothing about. However, once I started reading, I was absolutely addicted. The actual concept of the book, where certain girls are able to alter people’s appearance, because everyone looks like the same gray color with red eyes. Super unique, and intriguing. I found myself plowing through this book excited to get to the ending and find out what happens.
In like the first hundred pages you’re exposed to a shocker, and then from there it just doesn’t stop.
If you pick up this book, i definitely recommend setting aside a few hours so you can comb through the entire thing. I was addicted and finished the entire book in 1 sitting!
