I enjoyed the ideas involved in this book, the idea that beauty is a power from the gods, that it’s powerful.
But what is the price our Camellia will pay for beauty? For power? Does she become the favourite? Is all as it seems?
The writing was amazingly lyrical, the descriptions were just enough to entice me to want more.
I was reminded of a mixture of the circus and the magical world of wonderland all at once. I for one am eager for this trip down the rabbit hole!
