I first heard about the book in a behind the scenes look for the cover shoot. The images from the cover shoot really caught my eye, they are gorgeous. I love dystopian, fantasy and sci-fi books and knew I had to read this. I have not read any of the author's other works and wish I had because I could have met her at Yallfest.
